answered prayers.

Well we had to be at court @ 8:30 yesterday morning. We were expecting the state to start termination of the parents rights, and also the fact that the parents as of last sunday were willing to surrender thier rights. To make a long story short we have a seperation hearing on December 3rd which at that point as long as the judge signs the paper and agrees with everything the parent will be done. To quote the judge when he found out that we were wanting to adopt the kids he said" looks like everthing is going your way".
Now the bad part of the day was that the &#$%^&* judge decided to take a 5 hour lunch break. No I didnt studder and your ears didnt flap I said a 5 hour lunch break. So we didnt leave the courthouse untill 6 pm last night . But thats ok hopefully by nid year next year we will have addopted to of the cutest little crackheads I have ever seen.

We voted.

So I went to vote this morning and couldnt even drive down the road it was so backed up. Well we waited until I got off work and went only to find out that we have been moved to a church on the other side of the interstate. It really wasnt bad the wait was short just the drive over there in evening traffic. As I was walking out I heard a women say " God please help us". I felt the same way, we will see tomorrow.

big news update....

Since we have moved back to Louisiana we have been looking for somewhere to get a good dessert on date nights or any night. well I have found it . We found a dessert in Arizona called pizookie or something like that. but the nake is not that important . What is important is that it is a freshly baked cookie its still warm with icecream on it. BJ,s across the street from the Rave theater by the mall has them in about 5 differant flavors. you can even call in your order and pick it up they will bring it to your car even . its awsome we had one tonight . hope you injoy.

allready missed a day.

well I was gonna try and post once a day for this month and on the second day I have allready failed. I guess I will give a little update on our family this week is a big week for us we have alot going on and it will keep us busy . Most importantly we have court this thursday Nov 6th . The state claimes that they are tryting to turminate the parents rights and follow thru with addoption altho we feel comfortable that things are heading that direction we just dont trust the state workers. But on the more positive side the parents told us last night that they are ready to turn over thier rights because they know that they cant afford to take care of them. so we will se on thursday. Please keep us in your prayers.

Halloween fun

Halloween night Brennan decided to be an Engineer. This is actually his normal, everyday dress. Kate is the cutest bumblebee ever.

We brought a puppy dog and Buzz Lightyear to our ward Christmas party, which was a blast, by the way.

Halloween is over.

We made the trip around the block ( cause our lame street only had 5 houses participating).
So while we were gone we left a bucket of candy on the front steps with a sign that read " Please take one we went trick or treating, Happy Holloween." We came back expecting an empty bucket and it was still there. But we had agood time. Janel and I have made arrangments for the kids to stay with Grammy and Pops for the night so we are going to go catch a movie and well........... pictures of the kids will follow soon.
