The Saints won the Superbowl!!!!!

Well I'm not saying we live in Hell or anything but the Saints won and its snowing in Baton Rouge.

I was getting snow off of the hood to throw at the kids.

So Brennan was pushing his rocking chair thru the house and ran into another chair the rocking chair flipped back and he flipped forward and they collided, and this was the end result. Sorry thats pb&j on his jaw.

Funny thing is when he gets bigger I'm gonna tell him that Kate hit him because he was bullying her around he wont remember and maybe he will learn his lesson. Even if he doesnt it will be funny.

This is Brennan on his first day of school. We're so proud of him!

Brennan was surprised with a new John Deer truck for his birthday. Pops gave it a new coat of paint and made it look as good as new. Brennan had a great time driving it around the yard and figuring out the gears. He even let Kate drive it!

Brennan had a rock star rocking birthday party. He got a new guitar and lots of other fun toys. Turning four sure is a lot of fun!

Check out this bench I made for our back yard. I did most of the work but Jim's help was invaluable. It was a very fun project.

Our last trip to the zoo was a very special one. It was a reward to Brennan for being good all Sunday and church. Of course, riding the train is the best part of going to the zoo. This time we were the only ones on the train and the engineer let the kids pose for picture on the engine. I've never seen a happier boy, even if he was extremely tired.

Michael Graduates!

Last week we attended Michael's graduation from Holden High School. It was a very nice ceremony and they honored him for enlisting in the Army. He'll be leaving for basic training this summer. We are so proud of him!

All Janel wanted for Mother's Day this year was to spend some quality time with Jim and the kids. At the last minute we decided to go to Disney on Ice. None of us had been before and it was great! The kids even made it through the whole thing. Of course, we forgot to bring our camera, so this is the only picture we have. What cute kids!

Kate is looking cute as ever. Brennan and Kate are sporting new AZ shirts from grandma and grandpa.

I told Brennan not to take Kate off of a toy that he got for christmas. So he comes up to me and tells me " Your not being nice to me cause you dont have a mommy." I couldnt help but laugh.

Merry Christmas to all.

Well here we are and its Christmas morning. So far I'm the only one awake I cant wait to see the kids faces when they get up . A large section of the living room is covered with presents from SANTA. He came last night and looks like he emptied his sled. the kids got bikes and small wagons and lots of other nice toys. OCS came by to visit yesterday and brought the kids toys and clothes. Kate got 3 babies and some clothes that are too big but she will grow into them . And Brennan got 3 sets of trucks and some clothes. They were so excited. Last sunday we had a family visit for the kids at Grammy and pops house and the parents were ther too. So we did Christmas early there and Brennan opened one box and it was a pair of stripped overalls and I have never seen a child get excited about clothes. I cant even explain the look on his face he wanted to put them on right then. It was so cute. Well I guess things are about to pick up here I hear Kate moving about.

We got this crazy ball at chucky cheese a long time ago and well the kids finally busted it so I cut a hole in it and made a silly hat.

The adventures of Jim and Chris.

Chris is my nextdoor neighbor and any chance we get we take out his quad and ride around.
So we decided to go pull each other behind the 4 wheeler so we took a storage container and a rope. but that was kinda squirrely so we took some leftover plywood from the hurricane and pulled each other on that. It was great so we went to the park down the road. We had a great time it was like being a kid again.
